My knowledge is hard won, my experience was violently gained and my emotional intelligence carries on despite constant cruelty. The state and these systems have never helped me, so I do not help them, but if individuals within them seek to make a change I will help them so long as they value and compensate for my efforts.

What is the Sustainable Choice?

Privilege = Choice.

An abundance of choice in fact. You cannot make the “good” choice if you cannot afford the most basic option. When I think about or talk about sustainability or environmental activism I hit a barrier of understanding, not for myself necessarily but how we collectively understand our role within it.

Ayan meets the Board

I admit when I am wrong, I point out amazing, compassionate and kind insights from anyone who shares. And most importantly I do not ever assume the outcomes of what is brought into the space. If I am an honest, vulnerable and fallible person they then are allowed to be themselves fully in the space as well.
